Kolkata, India: Rishav Sadhu, Co-Founder & CEO of Webingo was invited to speak at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 – Young Professionals Round-table organised by Techno India University and Elixir Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India and MY Bharat.
The theme of the event was “Making India the Startup Capital of the World”, and included a panel discussion addressing the problems and solutions to make the Indian startup ecosystem even better and to build a Viksit Bharat @2047 with ideas and perspectives shared by entrepreneurs, innovators, academicians, students, policymakers and young professionals.
During his session, Rishav Sadhu did not go with the common lecture idea, but instead engaged the audience in a conversation about entrepreneurial friends instead of a lecture. His knowledge and experience in building businesses, mentoring founders, and collaborating with startups at various stages provided valuable insights from the trenches of entrepreneurship.
He did not talk about motivational stories, but rather focused on the reality of entrepreneurship, such as what works, what does not, and what decisions can make a founder’s life go much faster. His session embodied the ethos of learning entrepreneurship through constant experimentation, execution, failure, and adaptation, and not in classrooms.

He says one of the main reasons many aspiring entrepreneurs never make it to get their businesses off the ground is because they wait for the “right time.” There is no clear-cut definition of perfection, and businesses are created by those who start, learn, improve, and adapt.
The second one was no different, but it was also very strong: Never give up!
He said that with every entrepreneurial endeavor comes uncertainty, failures, setbacks, moments of self-doubt, and so on. The difference between those successful founders vs. the rest is that they aren’t avoiding the difficulties; they’re getting through them.
“Every entrepreneur dreams of building something meaningful, but dreams alone don’t build companies. Starting does. The most important step is taking action before you feel completely ready. Once you begin, every challenge becomes an opportunity to learn, improve, and grow. If you don’t start today, you’ll never know where you could have been a few years from now,” said Rishav Sadhu in the session.
During the event, the participation of Rishav Sadhu was also highlighted on the official verified social media handles of MY Bharat, a programme of the Government of India Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, adding to the national importance and the emphasis on empowering young innovators.
