International Taekwondo Academy
HYDERABAD, August 9, 2026: A powerful display of discipline, unity and martial arts excellence unfolded at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Sunday as 533 Taekwondo practitioners participated in a 35-minute continuous performance, resulting in a Guinness World Records achievement.
The event was organised by Jayanth Reddy International Taekwondo Academy and Suman Art Theatres with the objective of showcasing the discipline and collective strength of the Taekwondo community. Hundreds of practitioners performed together in a synchronized display that tested their concentration, stamina, coordination and technical ability.
The performance was the result of extensive preparation by participants and their coaches. Master Gajender guided the participants throughout the preparation, while Instructor Abdul Khaleel provided training in the basic Taekwondo techniques required for the record attempt.
Grand Master M. Jayanth Reddy led the record attempt with the support of a large team of Taekwondo masters, instructors and academies. The supporting martial arts fraternity included Master Narayanan from Madurai, Anil Kumar of Grand Master Martial Arts Academy, Master Ravi of Vestar Taekwondo Academy, Moin of Unique Taekwondo Academy, Master Subramanayam and Anjaneyulu of OMA Taekwondo Academy, Kavitha Taekwondo Academy, Master Shashank, Master Upender, Master Shaik Nasir, Rajiv Goud, Master Kalyan, Master Narasimha, Master John Kennedy, Master Ramu, Master Hanumanthu and Master Eshwar, along with many other coaches and instructors.
The participation of 533 practitioners highlighted the importance of teamwork in achieving a common goal. Every participant had to maintain concentration and perform the prescribed movements accurately while remaining synchronized with the entire group.
Parents and volunteers also contributed significantly to the success of the event by supporting the participants and helping with the arrangements. The organisers acknowledged that the achievement was the result of the combined efforts of the entire Taekwondo fraternity.
The organisers described the Guinness World Records achievement as an important milestone for Indian Taekwondo. They said the event demonstrated how martial arts can promote discipline, confidence, physical fitness, leadership and perseverance among young people.
The successful performance also provided an opportunity for Taekwondo practitioners from different academies and backgrounds to come together and celebrate their common passion for martial arts.
