Dr Arun Kumar S with pen name Ezhuthalan strikes with a new venture acting as a warrior for Operation Toofan Kerala.He launches his new film ,”Lahariyude Kunju” as a sword for Narcotic Hunt.The 45 minutes film is an eye opener and at the same time showing the right path to next generation.The plot came from one of his Great poems that came in Janmabhoomi Newspaper Sunday Supplement and later in Kerala Koumudi Newspaper. A drama was prepared out of it and staged at different places in Kottayam.Now it has got a new colour ,shape and Literature Enthusiasts are waiting for the Great poets Great venture .Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala congratulated him and wished success in the Great venture to liberate the young generation from the shackles of narcotics.
Dr.Arun Kumar S Haripad is a multifaceted genius, Lecturer, Lyricist,Bilingual Poet, Public speaker, Social Worker and a Lawyer all turned into one.
Dr. Arun Kumar was born on 30th May 1980 at Haripad, Alappuzha, to V.N Sivasankara Pillai and late Doctor L Jayasree. He took MA, BEd, SET, PhD in English then MHR and Bachelor of Law.
He is a renowned poet. His poetry transcends language barriers, as he has gained recognition and acclaim in both Malayalam and English. As a bilingual poet, he has been able to reach a diverse audience and create a lasting impact with his words.
Dr. Arun Kumar is a Lecturer in English in the Vocational Higher Secondary Department.
His famous works are sudarshanam, Good Vision, Truth Goodness and Beauty behind Love ,Novu, Porali collection of poems, Atmayanathinte Kavita a CD. His latest book is Ezhuthalan.. Latest books are in ebook form also.He created some video album S like Ambalappuzha Kannan, Nenjile Novu,, Mannarisala and the like.
Dr.Arun was honoured by the Hon. Home Minister Mr.Ramesh Chennithala, Hon. Minister of Agriculture Mr.P.Prasad for his contributions to world literature. He also received the Kalasahiti Award for young poets, Kunjikuttan Thampuran Smaraka award, Shreshtabhasha Malayalam award Kavyapuzha award. Praise worthy being Kerala Koumudi Literature Award from Hon.Minister Muhammad Riyas.He received Kerala Kalidasan Award from Hon.Minister Kadannappalli Ramachandran.
He is the state president of Ee Yugam literary and cultural association, Editor of Darppanam Magazine. He played a vital role as a state committee member of Sreshta Bhasha Malayalam. He is the President of Uvakalasahiti Haripad and Ipta Haripad.He is an inspiration for the young generation writers.
