The teaser for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Cirkus was released on Friday. Rohit shared the motion poster on Instagram, introducing fans to the quirky characters in the film. In the background of the teaser, there are colorful cars, carts, and masks.
Cirkus’ teaser started with Ranveer Singh, who plays a dual role for the first time in his career. The first Ranveer has sleek hair and looks, whereas the second has ruffled hair and a distraught expression. Pooja Hegde wears a yellow saree with matching jewelry and looks surprised.
Jacqueline Fernandez wears a blue outfit and partially ties her hair back with a band on her head for a retro look. In the motion poster, she winks and smiles. Varun Sharma, who also plays a dual role, appears in the teaser in various outfits. In the teaser, all of the other cast members have odd expressions and colorful outfits.
Rohit captioned the post, “Before the trailer drops next week, meet our CIRKUS family!!!” A fan reacted by saying, “Blockbuster already.” “Waiting to see this in the theater, finally something good is coming, excited for this movie,” wrote another. “Waiting for such comedy entertainers that can be watched with family,” one commenter wrote. “The wait is finally coming to an end,”
The film’s shoot was completed last week, and Ranveer announced the film’s filming wrap on his Instagram page. “Shooting khatam, Promotion ki shuru!” (After the shoot, begin planning for promotions.) Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, and Siddhartha Jadhav also appear in Cirkus. T-Series produces and Rohit Shetty Picturez presents. Cirkus will be released in theaters on December 23, 2018.
It is based on William Shakespeare’s classic play The Comedy of Errors, which follows two sets of identical twins who are separated at birth.
