MMH College, Ghaziabad, marked its 75th Foundation Year with a grand Alumni Meet 2026 on Sunday at its Meerut Road campus. The historic gathering brought together thousands of alumni from across India and abroad, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia, celebration and emotional reunions.
Among the members of the organising committee was Adv. Dheeraj Raghav, who contributed to the successful coordination of the landmark alumni gathering. The event brought together distinguished alumni, faculty members and prominent personalities from various professional fields.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana, followed by a warm welcome for the chief guest, distinguished guests and alumni. Bouquets, mementoes and traditional angavastram were presented to the guests as a gesture of respect and appreciation.
A special audio-visual documentary highlighting MMH College’s 75-year journey, achievements and institutional legacy was also screened during the programme. The presentation was well received by the alumni and guests.
Former Delhi High Court Judge Talwant Singh attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Adish C. Aggarwala, former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, was present as the Guest of Honour.
The college leadership included Prof. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal/Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Pankaj Tyagi, Dean of the Law Department. Faculty members including Prof. Aparna Malhotra, Prof. Sunaina Trisal, Prof. Reema Aggarwal, Prof. Seema Sharma, Dr. Poonam Chaudhary and Mr. Anil Singh also participated in the celebrations.
Addressing the gathering, the college principal highlighted the institution’s contribution over seven decades and noted that its alumni have played an important role in bringing recognition to the college at national and international levels.
During the celebration, distinguished alumni who have made notable contributions in different fields were honoured with mementoes and certificates of appreciation.
The event also featured cultural performances by students and alumni, including music, dance and poetry. Alumni members revisited their old classrooms and campus surroundings, sharing memories of their student days and expressing gratitude towards their teachers.
The gathering also focused on strengthening the alumni network and developing greater collaboration in areas including research, scholarships and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The organising committee included Rajiv Tyagi, Deepak Bansal, Shiv Kumar, Puvali Singh, Vishakha Singh, Monica Verma, Gulshan Sharma, Adv. Dheeraj Raghav, Surbhi Jain, Mehak Jadon, Avadhesh Verma, Himanshu Kumar and Rahul Gupta.
The programme concluded with the national anthem and a group photograph, followed by a community lunch for the guests and alumni. The historic gathering reaffirmed the strong bond between MMH College and its alumni and their shared commitment to remaining connected with the institution in the years ahead.
