Karate Association of Bengal
The players of the Karate Association of Bengal delivered a commanding performance at the 15th Silent Knight Championship, held from 16th to 20th April 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, organized by the Malaysia Karate Federation. Competing against strong international opponents, the team stood out with discipline, confidence, and results.
KAB returned with an impressive 1 Gold, 3 Silver, and 10 Bronze medals, reinforcing its growing strength on the global stage.
Leading from the front,At the core of this success is Hanshi Premjit Sen (8th Dan Black Belt), President of the Karate Association of Bengal, whose influence continues to shape the competitive edge of the team. With years of international exposure as a respected Referee and Judge, his approach remains clear—discipline, precision, and performance under pressure. He has consistently focused on building not just medal winners, but athletes with strong character and fighting spirit. His leadership is quietly but firmly placing Bengal on the global karate map, where results are earned through hard work, not words.

General Secretary Joydeb Mondal played a key role in maintaining strong coordination and ensuring the team remained organized and focused throughout the championship.
Team Manager Subhas Mitra efficiently handled team operations and on-ground management, ensuring discipline and smooth execution at every stage.
Coach Shabaz Khan kept the athletes sharp and match-ready with focused training and constant supervision, making a decisive impact on performance.
KAB officials Rana Sarkar and Prasonjit Chakraborty served as referees, while the guidance of Anil Rai and Ikthar Hussain added valuable strength to the team.
