Dr. Vikas Singhal
Indore:
The Anaemia Awareness Rath Campaign in Indore evolved into more than just a public health initiative—it became a powerful symbol of unity in diversity, as medical professionals from across India came together with a shared mission to combat anaemia.
Led by senior homeopathic physician Dr. A. K. Dwivedi, the campaign reached nearly two million people, spreading awareness about nutrition, prevention, and management of anaemia. The initiative was inaugurated by the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai Patel, in the presence of several dignitaries and healthcare professionals.
However, one of the most compelling highlights of the campaign was the inspiring participation of Dr. Vikas Singhal, Founder Director of Homeo Saga International Private Limited, who traveled all the way from Chandigarh along with his wife Tripti Singhal to actively support the cause.
Their presence strongly reflected the spirit of national unity. Carrying a message from Punjab, Dr. Singhal emphasized that the fight against anaemia is not limited to one region but is a collective responsibility of the entire nation. By joining the campaign in Indore, he symbolically bridged geographical boundaries, reinforcing the idea that India stands united against anaemia.
Dr. Singhal and Tripti Singhal actively participated in the awareness activities, interacting with citizens and walking alongside the Anaemia Awareness Rath. Their involvement became a major attraction of the campaign, drawing attention to the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing public health challenges.
Speaking during the campaign, Dr. Singhal highlighted the need to expand such impactful initiatives to other parts of the country. He announced that a similar large-scale anaemia awareness campaign is needed in Punjab and expressed his commitment to leading such an initiative in 2027, taking forward the message of health awareness and national unity.
The campaign also saw participation from other doctors across India, further strengthening the collective spirit behind the movement. A simple yet impactful message echoed throughout the event:
“Eat jaggery and roasted gram to increase haemoglobin.”
Dr. Dwivedi expressed gratitude to all contributors and emphasized that the campaign is not just about awareness but about building a healthier, stronger, and more united India.
The Indore campaign stands as a shining example of how unity in diversity can drive meaningful change—bringing together individuals from different states with one common goal: an Anaemia-Free India.
