The FPO is using a Rudra Solar Dryer to process chikoo (sapota), a highly perishable fruit prone to wastage and price volatility during peak harvest seasons. By converting fresh chikoo into value-added dried products, farmers are able to extend shelf life, improve product quality, and access better market opportunities.
