Jay Pandya completed his Diploma in Applied Arts from Gujarat University. He has also done Graduation in Drama from Gujarat University.

Apart from acting, Jay Pandya has made significant contributions behind the camera. He worked as a casting director for the 2014 Gujarati film Whisky Is Risky. Beyond his on-screen presence, Jay Pandya is also the founder of Scorewiin LLP, a rising film production house headquartered in Ahmedabad. Jay’s second production venture, Pravas, in this film also he played a prominent role along with being the producer. It has been screened at several international film festivals and has received multiple awards, including recognition as Best Children’s film at the Dhaka International Film Festival, where the Badal Rahman Award was presented in the presence of Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi and Indian actress Sharmila Tagore.
