Since its release on 22 September 2023, the song has been steadily gaining attention, with audiences praising its refreshing energy, charming visuals, and heartwarming storytelling.
Starring Mahaveer Abhimanyu and Divya Kandukuri, Priya Priya captured viewers with its playful romance set across the iconic streets of New York City. The video showcased meet-cutes, youthful chemistry, and dream-filled moments, quickly becoming a fan-favorite for its feel-good vibe and international aesthetic.
Directed by Poojitha Varma & Charan Rekula, who also co-produced the project with Anil, the video earned appreciation for its clean narrative, cinematic production, and global look. Viewers particularly admired the vibrant color palette and polished visual design—elements shaped under Anil’s role as Production Designer.
The song’s music was created by The Fantasia Men, who composed, arranged, and programmed the track. The audio team included flute by Yedhu, electric guitar by Joseph Prakash, and recording at The Sounddock Studios, Hyderabad, engineered by Adithya and Bhanu Prakash. Final touches came with mixing by Tom Parker in Visakhapatnam and mastering by Abin Pushpakaran at BLU Academy, Chennai.
