Dr. Nitin Sharma
In the heart of Rajasthan’s tribal belt, where education is still a luxury and social inequality , superstition , discrimination corruption at all levels remains deeply entrenched, the story of Dr. Nitin Sharma began. Today, he stands as a nationally recognized professional social worker,political and corporate strategist, corporate leader, and changemaker. His journey is not just one of personal success, but of relentless commitment to transforming lives and empowering communities across India.
Dr. Nitin Sharma’s early years were shaped in the remote regions of Udaipur, particularly in the tribal towns of Jhadol ( Phalasiya) and Dabok . His schooling took place in government institutions, often lacking even the most basic infrastructure. Studying under the dim light of a lantern many time and growing up in a household where discussions on community welfare were common, he developed a sharp awareness of the inequalities that surrounded him.
His father, a Private organisation school principal, played a vital role in his upbringing. He was deeply involved in promoting education among tribal girls and underprivileged children. Watching his father work tirelessly for the upliftment of the community left a strong impression on young Nitin. It was here that the seeds of his social consciousness were sown.
Initially pursuing science with aspirations of becoming a doctor, Dr. Sharma’s path soon shifted as his calling for public service became clearer. He went on to earn multiple advanced degrees including a Master’s in Social Work, LLB, LLM in Corporate Law, and a management certification from IIM Kolkata. He also holds an honorary doctorate in Social Work and Law. These academic credentials gave him the tools to work across sectors and create lasting impact.
Over the past 25 years, Dr. Sharma has worked cross cultural geography in India and abroad , across diverse fields such as retail , community projects , ITES projects education, rural development, healthcare, spiritual wellness, youth entrepreneurship, and public policy execution and PPP project development. His efforts are not limited to advocacy; he is a man of action. Through the NGO Fulora Foundation, where he serves as Voluntery CEO and Trustee, he has been actively involved in many social work activity including rehabilitating orphaned and street children, woman empowerment , Senior citizen support etc.The foundation provides them with food, shelter, clothing, education, and emotional support. His work here stems from a belief that unattended children are not just at risk, but are potential victims of the cycle of poverty and crime.
Dr. Sharma is also a key figure in India’s MSME development ecosystem. As Vice Chairman and strategy head of the MSME Promotion Council India and Chairman of the MSME PCI national mission Viksit Bharat 2047, he is working for help thousands of youth and women for receive training , entrrprenuership development, innovation, and self-reliance. These programs are not just about creating jobs; they are about creating leaders and enterprenuers , who will shape India’s economic, Business , Industrial and social future.
His leadership has extended into large-scale national and international projects. Dr. Sharma has successfully led and managed initiatives like Aadhaar and NPR enrollment, reforms in the Public Distribution System, RBI-led Financial Inclusion programs, and IT-based land titling projects overseas such as in the Philippines. His ability to integrate technology, governance, and community engagement has made him a trusted name in private public project strategy making ,implementation & execution.
As the National Program Director of “Yogi Bharat Nirogi Bharat”, he has been instrumental in spreading awareness about the benefits of yoga and wellness, particularly among the youth , Women ,and rural population. He is also serving as the Program Head (Mumbai) of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Spiritual Development Wing, where he combines the values of nationalism with the discipline of yoga and holistic living.
Dr. Sharma is currently a Director at multiple companies including Kalyani Business Solutions, Swadeshi Limited, and Ace Integrated Solutions Limited. His corporate experience has been pivotal in managing large-scale community and government projects. He has used his expertise to ensure that private sector efficiency meets public sector objectives.
He also holds the position of National President at the Social Media Foundation. Here, his focus is on bringing citizen voices into national conversations and ensuring public concerns are addressed through proper channels. He believes that digital platforms, when used responsibly, can be a powerful tool for democracy and transparency.
In recognition of his continued service to society, Dr. Sharma has received numerous honors and accolades. However, he remains grounded in his roots and credits his journey to the inspiration and support of his family and mentors. He acknowledges the influence of respected leaders such as Shri Ramdas Athawale and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as the guidance of Shri Arun Sabnis , Late Shri Dinesh Nandwana , Sh Radheyshyam sharma . He also draws strength from the love and encouragement of his wife Chandrika, his son Neel Brother Ajay, and his extended family who have stood by him throughout.
