The London Organisation of Skills Development Ltd (LOSD) is proud to announce a promising new collaboration with Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), aimed at hosting the Global Health Conference 2026 in Spring 2026. This landmark event will bring together leading researchers, academics, and global experts to share innovative findings, foster international dialogue, and address some of the most pressing health challenges of our time.
The meeting was held on 14th August 2025, brought together Prof. Dr. Parin Somani and Nurbanu Somani, CEOs of LOSD, Prof. Angela Branch-Vital, Dean, School of Public and Allied Health at PVAMU, Texas, USA and Dr. Oluwaseyi O. Yusuf, Research Lead at the School of Public and Allied Health at PVAMU. The discussion focused on strategic planning, academic partnerships, and the vision for an inclusive, knowledge-driven platform that will unite minds across disciplines and continents.
A Vision for Global Impact
The Global Health Conference 2026 will serve as a premier forum where scientists, educators, and policymakers can come together to exchange evidence-based insights and develop actionable solutions. With global health issues increasingly interconnected—ranging from pandemic preparedness to climate-related health impacts—the conference will prioritize interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative thinking.
“By creating a space where the best minds in research and academia can converge, we hope to catalyze real-world change,” said Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, CEO of LOSD. “This is more than a conference—it’s a global movement towards shared responsibility in improving health outcomes worldwide.”
Bridging Continents and Expertise
The partnership between LOSD and PVAMU symbolizes the power of transatlantic collaboration. With LOSD’s experience in global research events and skills development, and PVAMU’s academic excellence and leadership in public health education, the collaboration is uniquely positioned to deliver a conference of international relevance and credibility.
“We are delighted to be working alongside Prairie View A&M University,” said Nurbanu Somani, CEO of LOSD. “Our joint expertise will ensure the Global Health Conference 2026 is not only a hub for knowledge exchange but also a catalyst for lasting global partnerships.”
Prof. Angela Branch-Vital emphasized PVAMU’s commitment to community-centered health initiatives and interdisciplinary research. “Our role in this collaboration reflects our dedication to equipping future leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle global health challenges with cultural competence and innovation,” she stated.
Uniting a Global Audience of Experts
The organisers aim to attract a global audience of research experts across diverse fields—including epidemiology, healthcare policy, medical technology, mental health, environmental health, and community health systems. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, participants will have the opportunity to share their research, form strategic collaborations, and contribute to shaping the future of global health.
According to Dr. Oluwaseyi O. Yusuf, Research Lead at PVAMU, “We envision a conference that doesn’t just showcase academic excellence, but also empowers researchers to turn their work into actionable, scalable solutions.”
