R.P. Patel
In a small village of Gujarat, Shri Ratibhai Prabhudas Patel grew up where tractors were louder than city cars. He was born on 1st February 1958 in Kahoda village, Mahesana district of Gujarat, to Shri Prabhudas Chhagandas Patel and Smt. Galbiben Patel. His father was a farmer and mother managed the home with love. Even with less money, his parents knew that education was the way forward. They taught him honesty, hard work, and kindness—lessons that stayed with him forever.
He completed his B.Sc. in Agriculture from Anand Agricultural University and later earned an LLB degree. After his studies, he passed the bank exam and got a job at Dena Bank. While most looked at it as just a job, he saw it as a way to serve people. He stayed there for 20 years, helping customers and guiding staff. His calm nature and listening ear made him a respected face at the bank. He is married to Smt. Manjulaben Ratibhai Patel and has two sons — Bhargav and Amit.
Leaving a secure job is not easy. But Shri RP Patel believed life is bigger than comfort. With courage, he stepped away from banking and started a business. He worked with honesty and soon became a trusted name. Success came slowly but surely, proving that truth never fails, even in business.
While growing his business, he didn’t forget the young minds. He serve as chairman of Umiya Career Development Council (UCDC), where he guided over 8,000 students. From villages to towns, students came with dreams, and Shri RP PATEL helped turn those dreams into reality. Many cleared big government exams and found jobs that changed their family’s future.
In 2016, he took another big decision. He left his business to serve the nation through divinity, unity and values. That’s how Vishv Umiya Foundation (VUF) started. It wasn’t just an idea, but a mission to connect spiritual energy with unity. Under his care, this foundation became a symbol of service and strength.
In Ahmedabad, a ₹2,000 crore project named Vishv Umiyadham is taking shape. But it’s more than just a temple. It is being made as a place of education, holistic health, Skill University and celebration of our culture. People say it will be world’s tallest temple. But more than its height, it’s the values that lift hearts.
Shri RP Patel’s work is not limited to Gujarat. Through social media, events, and a growing physical presence abroad his message has reached Indians in the USA, Canada, UK ,Australia and Africa. No matter where people live, they feel a bond with Indian values through VUF. His leadership shows that one man’s selfless work can connect the whole world.
Today, Shri Patel works as the Principal Sevak of the Vishv Umiya Foundation. He doesn’t take anything for himself. His time, energy, and thoughts are all for others. He reminds us that greatness is not in titles, but in service. When a farmer’s son becomes the hope of many, history quietly smiles.
