Born in Oman, Vignesh later moved to India to pursue his education, where his commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) became a central focus in his life. He is currently studying Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sri Sairam Engineering College, where he skillfully balances his academic pursuits with an impressive array of extracurricular and leadership activities.
As the founder of the Seyal Foundation, a youth-led organization, Vignesh Velappan has spearheaded transformative initiatives that have earned national recognition. Under his leadership, the foundation has secured six national titles, supported over 13,000 families since the COVID-19 pandemic, and sponsored the education of 28 students. The foundation’s work extends to managing 48 orphanages, exemplifying Vignesh’s deep commitment to service, leadership, and social impact. His journey is a powerful example of how passion and perseverance can lead to transformative change.
