M. Hitansh Raj is a 9-year old prodigy from Telangana, Hyderabad. Studying in Atomic Energy Central School-2, he is recognised for his extraordinary ability in molding soft clay art and making idols out of it. The idols and figurines, he is skilled in crafting, are inspired mostly from Indian Mythology. He is a regular listener of Indian Mythology stories and this is the prime source of inspiration behind his craft. He is passionate in creating art that brings the richness of Hindu mythological deities to life. His love for the craft has been recognized by a wide range of people and have earned him numerous accolades and got his name inscribed in India Book of Records, World Records and more.
M. Hitansh Raj is born to Poornima and Rajasekhar. It is when he was 4 years old, he discovered his love for clay art and has realized that he is blessed with a gift. He is greatly inspired by the Goddess Kali. She serves as a profound inspiration to him, fuelling his creativity and his devotion for the divine. He takes pride in showcasing his talent to the audience and feels contented on creating the beautiful divine idols.
M. Hitansh Raj excels not only in making idols but also in crafting entire scenic mythological scenarios. The amount of patience it takes and efforts it demands are enormous and Master Hitansh excels in investing necessary efforts and patience to achieve the output. Hitansh Raj’s Soft clay arts are a testament to his boundless creativity and vivid imagination. The characters and scenic incidents of various mythological stories have captivated people for centuries. Being able to get them back to life with his talent, at such a tender age is a blessing. His attention for detail never goes wrong and he doesn’t miss a tiny detail on any part of the art. He learnt the art of crafting through internet. Parents are scared that Internet might ruin their kids future but, it is exactly the opposite for Hitansh.
His dream is to travel to all the temples of India, exploring and uncovering the hidden architectural marvels. Despite the challenges of balancing practice with other activities, Hitansh remains committed to his craft, finding joy in expressing himself creatively. Each piece is a labor of love, reflecting Hitansh Raj’s passion for his craft.
He has also been honoured with various recognitions and awards like Telangana Book of Records – Best Talent Award, Telugu Book of Records, World Wide Book of Records, Telugu Samskrutha Sahiti Seva Trust – Nandi Award, Global Human Rights Award in memory of Rabindranath Tagore, Best Child of the Year 2024 Award, International Star Kids Awards – Star Achiever and a few more.
