Dr. S. Prabakaran has bagged the “International Icon Educator Award-2024” on 20th March 2024, in “International ICON -2024” organized by MTTV India, Ajmer, Rajasthan, in recognition of his significant contributions, illustrious accomplishments, and useful services in the field of education. He has garnered over 86 Awards at the National and International levels so far. He excels as a scholar, educator, author, mentor, news anchor, and social activist.
Dr. S. Prabakaran began his career in the media as a News Reader and Compere. He continued in this role on TV channels like Pothigai TV (Compere), Mega TV (News Reader), and Imayam TV till 2013. He had trained more than 100 news reading aspirants and helped them get a job on TV Channels.
In 2013, Dr. S. Prabakaran received a government appointment as an Assistant Professor at AVVM Sri Pushpam College (Autonomous), Poondi-613503, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. He was promoted to the position of HOD of History in 2016 and retained that position through July 2021. He has 27 years of research experience in addition to 11 years of teaching experience, in which 5 years as HOD. He has guided 29 M.Phil. scholars, published 3 books, edited 10 books, written 22 book chapters, edited 4 proceedings with an ISBN number, organised 4 National level Seminars and 2 National level Symposiums, organised 17 guest lectures, and more. He has conducted free IAS coaching for students in the college from 2017 to 2021.
Dr. S. Prabakaran has written three books; two in Tamil and one in English. He has Edited 4 Proceedings and published with ISBN. His most important contribution is to the edited book on “The Complete History of Tamilnadu” which has been published in 6 volumes so far by Integrated Publications, New Delhi. The other two books have been edited by him for IIP Proceedings, by Iterative International Publishers, USA.
Dr.S.Prabakaran has contributed a lot for the upliftment of the poor students in his college. He has organized number of Seminars and Conferences and Guest Lectures, historical tours, etc. Notably, he has conducted free IAS coaching from 2017 to 2021 for college students who wish to apply for Civil Services Examinations and other Competitive Examinations.
Dr. S. Prabakaran has presented his research papers at numerous National and International Conferences and Seminars. He has taken part in several training sessions over the years, including 2 Orientation sessions, 6 Refresher sessions, 73 Webinars, 78 Online quizzes, 19 National level Seminars and Conferences, 20 Faculty Development Programmes (FDP), One Short-Term course, and more.
His biography has been published in 10 well-known Journals, including FOXSTORY India, FIREBOXX, Heights of Success (Sept. 25, 2022), Vaanga Pesalaam (Tamil Monthly, Dec. 20, 2022), Heights of Success (Feb. 25, 2023), and Glantor X Magazine (Feb. 20, 2023), MTTV INDIA Magazine (August-2023), Heights of Success (Special edition of Teacher’s Day -5th Sept 2023), Vaanga Pesalaam (Tamil Monthly, Jan. 15, 2024), MTTV INDIA Magazine (Jan-2024), Heights of Success (March-2024), MTTV INDIA Magazine (March-2024), among others. He has been on the Editorial Boards of the Edwin Group of Journals, Edwin Incorporation, India, the IMRF in Vijayawada, the InSc in Bangalore, the DK International Research Foundation in Perambalur, Editorial Board Member in Science, Health and Engineering (SHEN-2023), among other organisations.
Seven “Lifetime Achievement Awards” have been presented to Dr. S. Prabakaran. The International Research Awards on Science, Health and Engineering (SHEN 2022 Awards) presented the first “Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” on June 28, 2022. On October 2, 2022, USA Tamil Sangam, Madurai Folklore Research Centre, and the Department of Tamil presented the Second “Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” during the “International Muthamizh Award Function-2022” held at Madurai Naicker College. This news has appeared in a number of publications, including Way To News, Etv Tamizh Seithi, Makkal Kural, Makkal Mugam, Ullaatchi Murasu, and Dina Thanthi.
Third “Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” given by International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), Melbourne, Australia, in November 2022. The FIREBOXX, Bangalore, presented the fourth “Lifetime Achievement Award of the Year-2022” in December 2022. The fifth “Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” presented on December 17, 2022, at the Global Achievement Awards Convocation by the DK International Research Foundation (DKIRF), Perambalur, Tamil Nadu. The Sixth “Lifetime Achievement Award-2023” has been received from Magic Book of Records on 6th January 2023.
The Seventh award received as “Lifetime Achievement in Education-2023 of the Year Award (Iron Man of India-2023)” on 19th November, 2023, on “International Men’s Day -2023” organized by MTTV India, Ajmer, Rajasthan, for his innovative research, significant contributions and valuable services in the field of education.
The International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), Melbourne, Australia, presented Dr. S. Prabakaran with the “International Lifetime Achievement Award -2023” on 20 August 2023 in recognition of his significant contributions, illustrious accomplishments, and valuable services in the field of education.

Dr. S. Prabakaran received the “Global Inspiring Leaders Award-2023 (Educationist of the Year Award-2023)” from MTTV in Ajmer, Rajasthan, on April 10 2023 in recognition of his significant contributions, illustrious accomplishments, and useful services in the field of education.
On the eve of the 76th Independence Day celebration on August 15 2023, Dr. S. Prabakaran received the “Inspiring Indians of the Year-2023 – Educationist & Researcher Award” from MTTV INDIA, Ajmer, Rajasthan, for his noteworthy achievements in innovative research and noteworthy services in education, including teaching and writing.
