Ayesha Barse lost her parents at a young age, but her unwavering bravery got her through difficult times. Resilience, persistence, and an unyielding spirit characterize Ayesha’s incredible journey, which began when she was an orphan at the age of 17 and culminated in her inclusion on the list of India’s Most Inspiring Women in 2023.
Ayesha Barse endured severe loss and suffering, yet her unwavering spirit never faltered. She eventually went back to college to get her degree while working odd jobs to support herself and exhibited incredible grit and resilience.
In 1995, Ayesha’s mother a Kinloch Forbes Gold Medalist in Law lost her battle with illness, shattering Ayesha’s world. Sadly, her father, Major Vijaysingh Barse, died of a fatal heart attack less than two months later. Being the sole heir to her parents’ inheritance, Ayesha had to deal with severe mental distress as well as the difficult task of defending her financial and legal rights.
Ayesha Barse discovered her passion in mentoring and assisting people, drawing from her personal experiences of hardship and loneliness, and went on to have a prosperous career in HR and hospitality. She regularly participates in a number of social issues, such as aiding HIV-affected orphans, impoverished women and children, and people suffering cancer, because of her caring personality and commitment to helping others.
Ayesha Barse is a bright example of achievement and tenacity today. She works for the Reliance Foundation as the General Manager of Campus Operations at Jio Institute in Navi Mumbai. She draws a lot of inspiration from her founder and chairperson, Mrs. Nita Mukesh Ambani’s quote: ”As human beings, what we can do is extend help in whatever way possible.” Her dedication to encouraging staff motivation and involvement is a reflection of her unwavering faith in the efficacy of kindness and support.
