She also included two behind-the-scenes photos of herself from the set of the film.
Adah Sharma dressed in a top and skirt, smiled and looked at the ground in the first photo. Adah Sharma was wearing a white saree and hugging an elephant in the next photo. “Badhai ho (Congratulations) to you, to all of us… #TheKeralaStory success is all yours,” she captioned the post. Soon in West Bengal (red heart emoji) (hopefully), and now released internationally (finally in the UK).”
“We are grateful for such an amazing response, for the #TheKeralaStory,” she added. Everyone is born with the ability to dream. I hope my story can inspire every actor who enters the film industry to believe that they, too, can be a part of something historic.” A fan responded to the post, writing, “This movie deserves it.” “I’m from wb…” said one commenter. But I saw this masterpiece…. Based on the truth…”
Adah Sharma and film director Sudipto Sen recently visited Kolkata and interacted with the public. On Saturday, she tweeted a clip with the caption, “Thank you Kolkata, we got sooooo many messages on social media we came to meet you all and I hope #TheKeralaStory is allowed into theatres soon in West Bengal.”
On Twitter, a fan stated, “I am unable to book bookmyshow tickets in Chennai and Kolkata.” “Still?,” the actor replied. (emoji of a broken heart)” Despite the Supreme Court’s approval of the film The Kerala Story for screening in West Bengal, no cinema hall has yet agreed to show the contentious film, which was previously banned by the state government due to “communal disturbances.”
Satadeep Saha, the film’s distributor in the state, told news agency PTI on Friday that no single screens or multiplexes in the state have yet agreed to show The Kerala Story, including theatres owned by his family.
According to the report, Sudipto claimed at a press conference on Friday that several hall owners had been threatened “by certain quarters” and asked not to screen the film.
The Kerala Story, which premiered in theaters on May 5, alleges that women from Kerala were coerced into converting to Islam and being recruited by ISIS. The West Bengal government had previously banned the film, claiming that screening it would cause communal unrest. The film has so far grossed 178.32 crore at the domestic box office.
