On Friday, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Raha Kapoor is the couple’s first child. Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor wished them well on the occasion by sharing a precious photo from their wedding ceremony, which also included her late husband Rishi Kapoor. When Ranbir and Alia performed pheras around the holy fire, Rishi’s portrait was placed at the mandap.
Neetu Kapoor captioned the photo on Instagram Stories, “Happy anniversary, my beautiful people.” My heartbeats (two heart emoticons) Love and blessings,” along with folded hands emoji and a Nazar amulet. The image depicts Alia and Ranbir as bride and groom making an offering to the fire during their pheras.
A photograph of Rishi Kapoor is seen next to them as if the late actor was present for the ceremony.
Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also wished the couple a happy wedding anniversary. Riddhima captioned a wedding photo of them being showered with rose petals, “Happy 1st anniversary to Raha’s Mummy and Daddy.”
Neetu and Riddhima adore Alia Bhatt and constantly show her their affection on social media. Last month, on her 30th birthday, Neetu wrote, “Happy birthday BAHURANI (daughter-in-law).” Nothing but love and more love.”
Ranbir and Alia married last year at their Vastu home in front of only close friends and family. Last November, they welcomed their daughter.
Alia discussed her new family’s differences from her own nuclear family on Koffee With Karan last year. “I was raised between me, my mother, my sister, and my father,” she explained. That was all there was to it. Our interactions were brief. We had a small family, but it was a close one. We did not have these large gatherings or celebrations. “Everyone went their own way.”
“Enter the Kapoor family where everyone does everything together. You eat together, you perform aarti together, and you do everything together. “I thought it was cute,” she added.
