Russian President Vladimir Putin’s health has been a source of concern since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war last year. According to Metro, his health has deteriorated, with the Russian President experiencing ”severe pain in his head, blurred vision, and numbness of the tongue,” prompting doctors to panic.
The new development comes at a time when there are numerous rumors swirling about the Russian President’s deteriorating health.
The latest claims about the Russian President’s health were made by the General SVR Telegram channel, a Russian outlet that has been making claims about Putin’s ailing health.
According to the report, Putin also reported ”partial loss of sensation in his right arm and leg,” necessitating immediate medical attention. It went on to say that a council of doctors administered first aid and that Putin was ordered to take medication and rest for several days.
However, the Russian president reportedly refused to rest and was instead briefed on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The post went on to say that his condition had improved, alleviating concern among his large team of medics.
”The president’s relatives were more concerned. Such a rapid deterioration in Vladimir Putin’s health triggered a nervous reaction, bordering on panic. The president’s temporary sharp deterioration in health has already made those closest to him tense. The unexpected death of Putin will put them all in the face of the unknown, or rather, on the verge of survival,” said General SVR.
In February 2023, a video of the President’s unusual foot movement raised concerns about his health. The Russian President was unable to control his twitching feet during his meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, as evidenced by several videos shared on social media.
According to the Spanish news agency Marca, the Russian President is believed to be suffering from cancer and Parkinson’s disease. In leaked Kremlin emails, a security service insider confirmed, “I can confirm he has been diagnosed with early-stage Parkinson’s disease, but it is already progressing.” This fact will be denied and concealed in every way possible,” the source said in the emails, according to the outlet.
However, the Kremlin and Russian ministers have repeatedly debunked health reports and stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is in perfect health.
