Prabhas’ Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, is now in production. Bhuvan Gowda, the film’s cinematographer, has posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the shoot, which has Prabhas fans delighted. Many of them flocked to his post’s comments section to seek an update on the Salaar teaser. Following the spectacular success of KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2, Prashanth and Prabhas are reuniting in Salaar, which is rumored to be a remake of Kannada film Ugramm.
Bhuvan came to Twitter on Wednesday and uploaded a photo from the Salaar set. “Shoot in ongoing Salaar,” he added alongside it. Several eager fans demanded an update on the film’s teaser after seeing the images from the set. “Brother, please share when we may expect the teaser (sic),” one user commented. “Looks like a lot of night shooting is going on,” another Twitter user commented. Please release the teaser as soon as possible (sic).”
Shruti Haasan will appear in Salaar alongside Prabhas for the first time. The film is expected to be an action saga with Prabhas playing the lead character Salaar. Last April, a leaked still from the sets, in which Prabhas is seen smoking a cigarette, went viral on social media, and fans couldn’t stop themselves from expressing their delight.
Salaar will be presented by Anil Thadani and dubbed and released in Hindi. Prashanth took to Twitter in August to announce that Salaar will be released in cinemas worldwide on September 28, 2023. A poster was used to publicize the release date. Fans praised the team for revealing the release date a year ahead of schedule.

According to Prashanth’s tweet, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sriya Reddy, who was recently seen in Prime Video’s Suzhal, are also involved in the project. During the KGF: Chapter 2 promotional tour last year, Neel revealed that about 30 percent of the Salaar shoot was completed.
Prabhas is also working on his next multilingual film, Project K, with director Nag Ashwin. Deepika Padukone makes her Telugu debut with this film, which is produced by Vyjayanthi Films. Amitabh Bachchan also plays a significant role in the film.
