About Dr. Rashmi Jain
Dr. Rashmi Jain is an academician and a bilingual poet cum author from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. Presently she is working as an Assistant Professor of English at Iswar Saran Degree College, Prayagraj. She is a workaholic and passionate about poetry. She has six books to her credit out of which three are poetry collections and the rest includes academic books.
What is Dr.Rashmi Jain some greatest milestones in her life journey?
Some of the greatest milestones of her life may be insignificant to others but for her, they have their own importance. First, when She got two gold medals for standing first in order of merit in Master of Arts from the Department of English, University of Allahabad. Second, when She was awarded the doctorate degree in English from the University of Allahabad. Third when her first book Kaleidoscopic Visions was published, there after the publication of the rest of the books, research articles, and poems in various journals and anthologies. Another milestone was the citation of two of her papers in ‘A Continuing Checklist of Shaviana’ in Shaw, Vol.36 No. 2 (2016) published by Penn State University Press. Getting an award from Foxclues is also an achievement for her. She hopes, she would be achieving more milestones in near future.
What is the learning from the challenges Dr.Rashmi Jain has faced and how did she overcome them?
One of the greatest learning is that one should never give up either on oneself or on circumstances. Hard work always pays off so one should work hard in order to achieve the set goals. She thinks her positive attitude, faith in God, and quality of being laborious helped her to overcome all the challenges.
She tries to convey her views, ideas, and opinions through her works whether poetry, stories, or academic work. This is a great opportunity for her to reach a wider audience and make them aware of her works. She wants to highlight her work which would express her personality as well.
