On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, Bengaluru witnessed a powerful celebration of strength, compassion, and transformation as Certified Numerologist and Spiritual Mentor Dr. Shila Dasgupta was honoured with the prestigious “Inspirational Mother & Changemaker Award 2026” at the Red Divas Awards, organized by Red FM 93.5.
The grand ceremony took place at Orion Mall, Brigade Gateway, where several extraordinary women from across the city were recognized for their remarkable contributions to society. Dr. Shila Dasgupta received the award from renowned South Indian actress Haripriya, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Shiva K., COO of KAL Radio Limited (Red FM & Suryan FM), esteemed jury member Mr. R.S. Dharmendra, celebrated singer Avinash Chebbi, and other prominent personalities from Bengaluru’s social and cultural community.
During an engaging conversation with Red FM’s RJ Prithvi, Dr. Shila shared a deeply moving message about motherhood, resilience, and purpose.
“I believe every mother has the power to inspire and create positive change in society. If my efforts have made even a small difference, I feel truly blessed. This recognition motivates me to continue empowering others. I also thank my family — my husband, Dr. Kaushik, and my two sons, Dr. Kushaal and Dr. Sai Kaustuv Dasgupta — for their constant support. Being the mother of a 90% disabled son while balancing family, career, and responsibilities was never easy. But someone had to show that a positive mindset can transform lives. I could not find many examples around me, so I decided to become one. To all women and special mothers, I say — kabhi mat haaro, aage badho, and always spread love and acceptance.”
Dr. Shila Dasgupta’s journey is a remarkable story of strength, compassion, and spiritual wisdom. Known for her work in music, poetry, numerology, spiritual guidance, and emotional well-being, she has helped countless individuals find balance, clarity, and purpose in life. A trained musician, she holds a Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.) degree from Allahabad University and has been honoured with the prestigious titles “Sangeet Kalashree” and “Sangeet Bivakar” for her excellence in music. She is also a World Record Holder, having created national and international records by chanting the Hanuman Chalisa in the shortest time, demonstrating how spirituality can remain relevant and powerful even in today’s fast-paced digital age.
