DR AMIT JAIN
The Kamala Krishna Royal College and School of Nursing, under Karthik foundation, celebrated their Graduation Day on February 4th, 2026, a proud moment for all the outgoing nursing student of the esteemed college who worked hard for years learning and working dedicatedly. To celebrate this day, An esteem chief guest of National and International repute for his passionate and dedicated original work, Dr (Prof) Amit Jain, the Pioneer and Father of Podiatry, who has given one of the largest known principle and practice in Diabetic foot in the world as per published medical literature, was invited as the Chief guest for this occasion. Dr Amit Jain is the Director of largest known philanthropic project that aimed at training doctors and nurses in diabetic foot from past 9 years known as Amit Jain’s Project and also runs a unique Amit Jain’s Show- The Podollywood of Diabetic foot in different colleges and hospital.
It was indeed an honour for the young budding nurses, both GNM and BSc nursing, to receive their certificate from an achiever, who has set more than 7 world records for his work on Diabetic foot.
This occasion was also graced by our college chairman and his wife Mr and Mrs Govind, our Honourable secretary of Karthik Foundation Mrs Rekha Govind, our Principal Prof Mahesh and all our teachers of the nursing college.
In a remarkable feat of historical importance of this college and school, the management announced that there shall be an eponymous award henceforth known as “Dr Amit Jain’s Best Outgoing Student Award” that shall be given every year to the best nursing student, an effort to promote talent among healthcare students and nursing professional setting Dr Amit Jain as an example of talent and hard work in particular field in medical literature.
The best outgoing student for year 2024-25 was given to our student Netravati and for the year 2025-2026 was given to Our Student Subranil.
The event was followed by performance of nursing students and was well graced with inspiring speeches from our chief guest along with our chairman, secretary and principal.
