9 Figure Media, a reputed PR and branding firm, is set to organise a grand and meaningful commemoration of 150 years of “Vande Mataram” at Gandhi Bhavan, Bengaluru, marking a rare and prestigious national tribute to the legacy of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, the composer of India’s iconic national song.
The celebration is being curated with academic depth and cultural reverence, making it one of the few national-level events in India dedicated exclusively to honouring Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and the spirit of Vande Mataram.
As part of the celebrations, the Vande Mataram Awards 2026 will be presented to 25 distinguished achievers from across the country, recognising excellence, service, leadership, and meaningful contributions to society across diverse fields.
The event will be inaugurated by Justice Ashok B. Hinchigeri, Chairman, Karnataka Law Commission and Former Judge of the High Court of Karnataka.
The ceremony will also be graced by distinguished guests, including:
Shri Bhaskar Rao, Former ADGP and Former Commissioner of Police
Dr. Shalu Chawla, Founder & Director, Adiryankaya, and Renowned Cosmetic Scientist
Their presence adds stature to the celebrations, reflecting the confluence of leadership, innovation, and national service.
The programme will witness participation from professors of various universities, senate members, academicians, and intellectual delegates, who will present their perspectives on the relevance of Vande Mataram in contemporary India.
