In a distinguished ceremony underscoring the vital role of mentorship in international relations, Dr. Dinesh Sabnis was honoured with the prestigious Nobel Icon Award for his exemplary leadership in Youth Diplomacy. The award was conferred during the W50 Global Summit held at the iconic Garvi Gujarat Hall in New Delhi on December 15, 2025, organized by the World Leaders Consortium (WLC) in association with the M-Aashiyana Welfare Foundation (MAWF) with the theme “From Local Impact to Global Influence: Celebrating Change, Shaping the Future”
The ceremony was graced by high-profile international dignitaries. The award was presented to Dr. Sabnis by His Excellency Dr. Joseph Muscat, former Prime Minister of Malta, His Excellency Mr. Reuben Gauci, the High Commissioner of Malta to India and Her Excellency Dr. Janis Darbari,the Hon. Consul General of Montenegro in India, cementing the occasion as a gathering of key diplomatic figures.
