My goal when I started Kikitoes was simple: to make bamboo socks that men would like to wear. Not just fashionable socks, but socks that help them get through their long days, busy schedules, and the duties they often keep to themselves.
I started this brand because I was frustrated with the men around me who didn’t care about their own comfort. They would buy clothes, shoes, and gadgets, but never the one thing they wear every day: socks. I realized then that comfort shouldn’t be a luxury; it should be something we do every day.
My Personal Backstory: Where It All Began
Growing up, I saw my dad and brothers leave home early in the morning and come back late at night, over and over again. They never complained, even though their feet hurt. Men don’t say they’re uncomfortable very often, and they almost never buy themselves nice socks.
I wanted to change that. I wanted to make socks so comfortable that even guys who don’t care about socks would notice right away.
That journey led me to bamboo.
