Education in India is entering a new era — one that values emotional strength as much as academic excellence. “Celebrating Education: Embracing the Future” is a landmark initiative bringing together India’s most visionary educators, thought leaders, and changemakers to honor excellence, innovation, and emotional intelligence in schools.
The event, celebrated education beyond academics — focusing on building emotionally resilient, confident, and future-ready learners. Organized in association with Life Skills Journal, Study Base, and Lamp Post Trust, the program recognized schools, principals, and organizations making outstanding contributions to life skills, emotional well-being, and confidence education across India.
The event Celebrating Education: Embracing the Future honored outstanding individuals and institutions for their exceptional contributions to educational leadership, life skills development, AI integration, CSR, and holistic well-being in schools.
The ceremony began with the Excellence in Educational Leadership, presented by Ms. Ashish Singh. The award recognized the remarkable leadership and dedication of Ms. Rabiaah’ Bhatia, Dr. Reetika Bhandari, , Ms. Sonia, Ms. Sakshi Gaba, Ms. Geetanjali Pandit, Ms. Shailza Taneja, and Brig. Arun Gupta.
In Category 2: Outstanding Community Engagement & CSR in Education, Ms. Shahnaz Perveen and Ms. Madhu from Lamp Post Trust was recognized for her exemplary work in strengthening the bond between classrooms and communities through meaningful CSR initiatives that inspire generosity and social responsibility.
Category 3: Best Integration of AI in Education honored Ms. Monika Koul Sultan for her pioneering efforts in embedding artificial intelligence into teaching and learning systems, elevating the quality and accessibility of modern education.
In Category 4: Best School in Life Skills & Safety Education, presented by Ms.Mahima, CSR Head Bata -several distinguished leaders and institutions were recognized for ensuring students grow with emotional intelligence, resilience, and essential life skills. The awardees included Ms. Savita Nehra, Mr. S.K. Saxena of Rukmani Devi Jaipuria Public School, Ms. Sheba Thapar of Sacredstep Experiential Learning, Ms. Anubha Srivastava of Delhi International School Edge, Ms. Smita Sharma Dabas of Ramjas School Anand Parvat, Ms. Priya Gambhir of St. Teresa School, and Dr. C. B. Mishra of the Prudence Group of Schools.
The grand finale, Category 5: Principal of the Year – Confidence & Well-Being Leadership, was presented by Ms. Mahima Chandra, Global Lead – CSR at Bata Group. This recognition celebrated leaders who champion emotional well-being, confidence-building, and holistic development in their institutions. The honorees included Mr. Vikrant Sharma, Dr. Pooja Malhotra, Dr. Alka Kapur, Dr. Shivani Sahni, and Ms. Monieka Khanna.
Special recognitions included the Jury of Honor, awarded to Ms. Archana Gupta and Dr. Renu Saxena for their expertise and contribution to the selection process.

The Celebrating Education initiative is a part of Life Skills Journal’s larger mission to promote confidence, emotional intelligence, and safety awareness among students.
Led Life Skills Journal, the organization has previously conducted notable programs such as the Confidence Hackathon in collaboration with DLF School, Ambience School, and Buland NGO—aimed at nurturing a bully-free, emotionally strong generation.

A distinguished jury comprising Ms. Mahima Chandra (Global Lead – CSR, Bata Group), Mr. Gambhir Agarwal (Relaxo Foundation), and Mr. Ashish Singh (ABP Live) nominated 25 outstanding schools from Delhi for their contributions to life skills education, emotional wellness, and innovative pedagogy.
Their expertise ensured that the Education Leadership Awards celebrated genuine innovation and empathy-driven leadership.
The event also featured a panel discussion on AI in Education, Emotional Health, and Confidence Building, engaging top educationists, psychologists, and CSR leaders on how to balance digital growth with human connection.
