From tech parks to the city’s busiest malls, giant green arrows have Bengaluru guessing who planted them and what they mean.
Overnight, a massive downward-trimming plant appeared at hotspots from Koramangala to Brigade Road and even on the lawns of Christ College. Each one is ringed with yellow tape warning “Don’t Beat Around the Bush,”.
Before the city had even settled into its day, the same green arrows were being spotted at, Koramangala MG Road, Jyoti Nivas College, and other hotspots of Bangalore.
Some people clicked selfies, others went straight for the QR, guessing for answers. But the scan only opened a page asking visitors to guess the meaning, no clue, no brand, nothing to explain the setup.
This is a peak Bengaluru moment to witness that this arrow is sparking curiosity on the streets of Bengaluru. The tech hub where every day a new thing is the talk of the town, this downward arrow is leaving every mind questioning who is behind this and what this arrow symbolizes.
A creator @itssarathhree posted an image saying, “A Giant Bush in Bengaluru with the ‘Down there done right’ has left everyone wondering what’s going on. The comments had wild guesses for this setup; someone said “green tech park announcement,” others commented “eco-friendly footwear brand launch”. These bizarre guesses challenge the Banglorian to figure out the gist of it. The most surprising phase is that even when you scan the QR, you don’t get any clue, but a dedicated page that is also about guessing the correct answer.

Throughout the day, the arrows pulled crowds. Office-goers paused on their commute for photos, students skipped chai breaks to grab group shots, and auto drivers slowed for a closer look.
By evening, local news feeds were packed with collages of the mysterious greenery, which turned ordinary street corners into guessing spots.
So far, no group or company has claimed responsibility. These giant green arrows remain Bengaluru’s mid-week riddle, proof that the city never misses a chance to turn an everyday street into a peak Bengaluru moment.
