Chandigarh, August 22, 2025:
EcoPravah 2025, Punjab’s first-ever Climate Week, a movement brought together students, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, educators, and ecosystem leaders for a week-long celebration of green innovation and sustainability. Spanning five days across IIT Ropar, IISER Mohali, DCM School Ludhiana, Sukhna Lake Chandigarh, and NABI Mohali, EcoPravah showcased how collective efforts can shape a resilient future.
Organized by Mr. Vineet Khurana, CEO, Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce (SACC), Mr. Sonu Bajaj, Founder, WeIncubate, and Mr. Abhshek Chauhan, Founder, Samvedanam, with the support of over 40 ecosystem partners, the event ran from 18th to 22nd August 2025, igniting a powerful movement of Greenpreneurship in Punjab.
Day 1 – IIT Ropar | 18th August 2025 | Young Climatizers Pitchathon Inaugural
The week opened with great enthusiasm at IIT Ropar, where young innovators pitched breakthrough climate solutions in the Young Climatizers Pitchathon. Their conviction, clarity, and innovative spirit impressed the jury, setting a strong tone for the days to follow.
Day 2 – IISER Mohali | 19th August 2025 | Science Meets Entrepreneurship
At IISER Mohali, budding entrepreneurs blended science, research, and innovation, presenting impactful climate-tech solutions. The day highlighted how sustainability-driven startups are bridging the gap between research labs and market-ready ventures.
Day 3 – DCM YES, Ludhiana | 20th August 2025 | School Innovators Take the Lead
The spotlight shifted to schools on Day 3. Students from DCM YES, DCM Presidency, BVM Ludhiana, and Sacred Heart showcased expressive pitches, proving that the next generation of Greenpreneurs is ready to take charge. Their creativity and passion for climate action won the admiration of all present.
Day 4 – Climate Walk & Pledge Wall, Sukhna Lake Chandigarh | | 21st August 2025
With a pleasant drizzle and fresh breeze blessing the morning, hundreds of participants – students, startups, investors, and citizens – gathered at Sukhna Lake for the Climate Walk & Pledge Wall.
The event was graced by Shri Sanjay Tandon ji Co-Incharge Himachal Pradesh BJP & Member National Executive BJP, whose warm interaction with the students was a highlight of the morning. He not only applauded their energy and commitment but also gave simple, actionable guidance: “Small steps matter. Save water, keep your surroundings clean, adopt climate-friendly habits, and most importantly — inspire others to do the same.” His words resonated deeply with the students, motivating them to see themselves as true “climate warriors.”
Participants walked with slogans, banners, and determination, pledging to adopt greener practices in everyday life. The unity and energy at the walk symbolized EcoPravah’s true spirit – climate action as a collective responsibility.
Day 5 – Grand Finale at NABI Mohali | | 22nd August 2025
The finale at NABI Mohali brought the week to an inspiring close. The day began with inaugural addresses by Smt. Komal Mittal DC Mohali and Shri Ashwani Pareek, Executive Director, NABI Mohali, and special thanks to Miss Maya Sherman, AI expert and project co lead GPAI- OECD, also to 30+ leaders from the ecosystem.
The day featured:
- Policy Panel: Experts highlighted how effective collaboration between policymakers and practitioners can accelerate climate action.
- Academia Panel: Discussions emphasized how educational institutions can nurture Greenpreurship and serve as launchpads for sustainable innovations.
- Investor Panel: Leading investors shared what they look for in climate entrepreneurs.
- Entrepreneur Panel: Sustainability Startups showcased their journeys and entrepreneurial spirit, inspiring the next wave of innovators.
Two exciting pitching sessions energized the audience:
Young Climatizers Pitchathon Finale – 10 student teams from the first three days of campus engagements competed with remarkable energy and conviction.

- Entrepreneur Express – 5 climate-tech entrepreneurs pitched to 15+ leading investors, from across India sparking serious interest in collaborations and funding opportunities.
The EcoPravah 2025 Impact
Over five days, EcoPravah 2025 united students, schools, colleges, startups, corporates, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders to create a shared commitment towards sustainability.
