Yuvaa Udaan Foundation
Thane, August 2025 – A new youth-powered initiative, Yuvaa Udaan Foundation, is set to launch on 15th August 2025 in Thane. The NGO’s mission is boldly captured in its slogan — “Yuvaa ki Udaan – Likhega Naya Hindustaan” — reflecting the spirit of young India building a brighter, more compassionate tomorrow.
The foundation has been established under the leadership of Sahil Sidhwani, who currently serves as the President of the Sindhi Cell, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (Thane), along with co-founders Harsh Agrawal and Gaurav Saraf.
Yuvaa Udaan Foundation is currently an unregistered NGO and does not accept any form of donations. Plans for official registration are underway in the coming months. For now, the team is focusing solely on volunteer-driven, socially impactful work in the Thane region.
To mark its launch, the foundation will conduct an Umbrella Donation Drive for the Thane City Traffic Police, recognizing their continuous efforts to ensure public safety. This initiative is being executed in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Thane Hills, a reputed youth-based organization known for its consistent community engagement and impactful service projects.
As Sahil Sidhwani is also serving as the Treasurer of the Rotaract Club of Thane Hills this year, this collaboration naturally aligned with the vision and values of both platforms. For a launch project that reflects gratitude and civic responsibility, there could not have been a better partnership.
On Independence Day, we celebrate the freedom our nation earned decades ago. But even today, our ability to move freely and safely in our cities is protected by the tireless efforts of our traffic police. This umbrella donation drive is our way of showing gratitude for their selfless service and standing in solidarity with those who guard our daily freedom.
As India completes 78 years of independence, Yuvaa Udaan Foundation is taking its very first step towards creating a culture of youth-led action and civic responsibility. With its roots in Thane and its eyes on national impact, the foundation aspires to become a platform where young minds unite for meaningful change.
This Independence Day, their message is clear: Gratitude begins at home, and change begins with us.
