Aryansh Arora
“How much more can someone write in the name of love?” is one of the most frequently asked questions these days among writers but some people who went for Shiddat, a solo show by Aryansh Arora, were amazed by a very new and interesting point of view on Love.
Aryansh Arora has been writing for the last 10 years and performing for the last 8 years. He wrote 3 books and compiled and co-authored other 100 books. His previous poetry show Nausikhiya was a big success conducted in 3 cities Delhi, Lucknow and Mumbai. Aryansh was not planning for another Solo show for a good amount of time until Shubham Ranka founder of Groww entertainment reached out to him. It was his belief on Aryansh that made him write Shiddat. Aryansh said, “Because of my hectic schedule I was not planning another Solo show but it was Shubham bhaiya who showed confidence in me and that made me write Shiddat.”
Shiddat is a story of an Artistic Bipolar Disorder. The date was set on 19 July and by the looks of it, Shiddat went amazing. Aryansh added all the flavours he could to make that room a safe space to feel and heal the poems and he added a beautiful touch in his Attire where he embroidered the name ‘Basti’ like a badge on his chest which caught the eye of many many dreamers from small city. His attire was made by an up-and-coming fashion designer from Basti Uttar Pradesh, Anubha Gupta. ‘Shukrana’ written on his back reflected his personality and gratitude to every audience member.
People came from Agra and many distant places. The show was opened by Ranmal Jain and it was covered behind the lens by Nishu Jain. While taking feedback, one of the audience said, “As an artist I was feeling totally connected to everything he was saying I was not bored even for a second”. Aryansh also performed one of his best pieces ‘Dastaan-e-Qais’ which earned him a rightful standing ovation from the audience.
Aryansh Arora is planning to cover 3-4 more cities with Shiddat by the end of 2025. You can get all updates of his upcoming show on his Instagram @aryannwrites_.
