Vectors Academy
In an ever-evolving academic world, where global curricula demand expertise, vision, and relentless dedication, Dr. Aisha Shaikh has carved an inspiring path. At just 27, she stands as a symbol of modern educational leadership. Armed with a dual degree in Science and Arts, and having completed her PhD in Education, she represents the perfect blend of academic knowledge and visionary thinking. Her early experience as an Overseas Education Counsellor with a reputed international firm gave her insight into the challenges students face—and helped her realize that her true calling was to build something of her own.
That dream took shape in the form of Vectors Academy, co-founded with her partner and now husband, Mr. Haider Shaikh. What began as a small initiative has flourished into a leading educational institution, catering exclusively to students of the Cambridge and IB curricula. With centres across Mumbai’s central suburbs—Mulund, Ghatkopar, and Thane—Vectors Academy has quickly become a trusted name for academic excellence.
From the outset, the founders envisioned Vectors as a space where global education isn’t just taught but deeply understood. “International curricula like Cambridge and IB require more than content delivery,” says Dr. Aisha. “They need a culture of thinking, mentorship, and consistency. That’s what we’ve built here.”
At the core of Vectors’ success is the synergy between the two founders. Mr. Haider Shaikh, who often credits the execution of their vision to Dr. Aisha, is in fact the original mind behind the academy’s concept. With a master’s in thermal engineering and currently pursuing a PhD, he embodies academic excellence. A true educator at heart, Mr. Haider invests deeply in every student. If a child underperforms, he takes it personally—often losing sleep until the student is back on track. He is amongst the few Cambridge-trained professionals , a certified Cambridge facilitator and an assessment specialist, also a regular MISA meet contributor. His curriculum expertise and experience with several international schools have helped shape Vectors into a research-driven, high-impact institution.
Alongside their leadership is a team of remarkable educators. Mr. Sagar Sompura, the IB Head, has structured and led the IB wing to success in a remarkably short span. Known for his ability to connect with both parents and students, he brings clarity and strategy to the entire program. Mr. Rahul Gosrani, the Humanities faculty, has stood by Vectors since its early days. Whether there was one student or ten, he brought unmatched energy and enthusiasm to his sessions and remains a beloved mentor. Mr. Samkit Raisoni, a Mumbai University mathematics topper and former Cambridge student himself, began his journey as a fresher but quickly rose to become one of the academy’s top performers. His student-centered approach and deep understanding of the curriculum consistently produce outstanding results.
Today, Vectors Academy is home to a team of over 30 subject facilitators, each handpicked for their passion and proficiency in international curricula. Many are certified or trained specifically in Cambridge or IB methodologies, ensuring their teaching aligns with global best practices. But qualifications alone don’t define this team—what makes them exceptional is their care for each child, their dedication to solving even the most last-minute doubts, and their effort to make learning enjoyable.
More than just a coaching centre, Vectors has become a second home to students. Here, classes are interactive, feedback is constructive, and teachers become mentors. Students from renowned schools like Dhirubhai Ambani International, Oberoi International, Jamnabai Narsee, Singapore International, SM Shetty, Billabong, Universal, JBCN, and Podar group of schools have found success under their guidance. The academy now extends its academic support beyond India, catering to NRI and international students online in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
The results speak volumes. With consistent academic excellence, top board scores, and global placements, Vectors has helped hundreds of students unlock their full potential. But beyond marks, the academy focuses on mindset. “We’re not just helping kids score—we’re helping them believe,” says Dr. Aisha.
That belief is part of the culture at Vectors, where faculty attend regular workshops, students receive personal mentoring, and learning is tailored to individual needs. It’s no wonder that the academy enjoys one of the highest retention rates and glowing parent recommendations.
As Vectors Academy prepares for further expansion and digital innovation, one thing remains unchanged: the shared mission. “This was never about numbers,” says Mr. Haider. “It’s always been about impact.”
Vectors Academy isn’t just a place to learn. It’s a place to grow.
Led by visionaries, built by educators, and powered by purpose—this is where excellence begins.
