Dr. S. Prabakaran
Dr. S. Prabakaran received the 103rd Award “The Great Rajaraja Cholan Golden Professor Award-2025” on “International Muthamizh Awards -2025” organized by Madurai Muthamizh Folklore Research Centre; USA Tamil Association and Madurai Yadava College in Madurai, Tamilnadu on 10th January 2025 for his significant contribution and honourable achievements in the innovative research and valuable services in the field of education.
Dr. S. Prabakaran began his career as a News Reader and Compere, and has served in the channels: Pothigai TV, Mega TV and Imayam TV till 2013. He has trained more than 100 people for the role of News Reading. In 2013, Dr. S. Prabakaran received a government appointment as an Assistant Professor at AVVM Sri Pushpam College, Poondi, Thanjavur. He was promoted to HOD of History in 2016 and retained that position through July 2021.
Dr. S. Prabakaran has authored three books: two in Tamil and one in English. He has edited 4 Proceedings and published them with ISBN. His most important contribution was of the edited book on “The Complete History of Tamil Nadu”, 7 volumes of which, have been published by Integrated Publications. He has organized number of Seminars and Conferences and Guest Lectures, historical tours, etc. Notably, he has conducted free IAS coaching from 2017 to 2021 for the college students.
He has conducted 20 International Level Online Quiz Programmes during the Academic Year 2020-2021 and so that he has been received 5 National Awards from Five organisations, such as, HOD of the Year Award-2021 (InSc); Best HOD of the Year-2021 (Magic Book of Records); Best HOD of the Year-2021 (Karnataka Educational Awards); Best HOD of the Year Award-2021 (GECL, Dehradun, Uttarakhand) and Best HOD of the Year 2021 (FireBoxx).
Eight “Lifetime Achievement Awards” have been presented to Dr. S. Prabakaran. The International Research Awards on Science, Health and Engineering (SHEN 2022 Awards) presented the first “Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” on June 28, 2022.

On October 2, 2022, USA Tamil Sangam, Madurai Folklore Research Centre, and the Department of Tamil presented the Second “Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” during the “International Muthamizh Award Function-2022” held at Madurai Naicker College.
Third “Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” given by International Institute of Organised Research (I2OR), Melbourne, Australia, in November 2022. The FIREBOXX, Bangalore, presented the fourth “Lifetime Achievement Award of the Year-2022” in December 2022.
The fifth “Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” presented on December 17, 2022, at the Global Achievement Awards Convocation by the DK International Research Foundation (DKIRF), Perambalur, Tamil Nadu. The Sixth “Lifetime Achievement Award-2023” has been received from Magic Book of Records on 6th January 2023.
The Seventh award received as “Life Time Achievement in Education-2023 of the Year Award (Iron Man of India-2023)” on 19th November, 2023, on “International Men’s Day -2023” organized by MTTV India, Ajmer, Rajasthan, for his innovative research, significant contributions and valuable services in the field of education.
The 8th award received as “Lifetime Achievement in Education Award-2024” on 20th June, 2024 from MTTV India, Ajmer, Rajasthan, for his significant contribution and honourable achievements in the innovative research and valuable services in the field of education.
Dr. S. Prabakaran has bagged the “Global Star Educator Award-2023” on the eve of the International Teacher’s Day Celebration on 5th October, 2023, on “Global Star of the Year -2023” organized by MTTV India, Ajmer, Rajasthan, for his significant contribution and honourable achievements in the innovative research and valuable services in the field of education.
“INDIAN’s- The Icon Award-2023 (Educationist)” has been awarded to Dr.S.Prabakaran from the MTTV, Ajmer, Rajasthan on 12th February 2023 for the Contribution and valuable services in the field of Education. Dr. S. Prabakaran received the “Global Inspiring Leaders Award-2023 (Educationist of the Year Award-2023)” from MTTV in Ajmer, Rajasthan, on April 10, 2023 in recognition of his significant contributions, illustrious accomplishments, and useful services in the field of education.
He has written 3 Books and 4 Proceedings, edited 11 Books and authored 23 Book Chapters. He has garnered 105 Awards at the National and International levels including “Honorary Doctorate Award-2025” from Sahara Charitable Trust on January 2025. He excels as a scholar, educator, author, mentor, news anchor, and social activist.
