Dr. Ghanshyam Pundlik Thorat
A unique personality of knowledge and talent: Professor Doctor Research Scholar Pandit Ghanshyam Pundlik Thorat is honoured by many international universities. Professor Dr. Ghanshyam Pundlik Thorat, originally a resident of Dhulia, residing now in Mumbai (born in Nizampur Sakri), has been associated with the Department of Journalism, Literature and Justice for the last 28 years.
He first learned oratory and writing from his respected late father Pundlik Bhagaji Thorat. He passed Class 9th with First Rank from Chhatrapati Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha’s Krishna Nagar High School, Moglai Dhulia at the age of 13. Later on he finished in Post Graduation and Journalism and MA in Hindi Literature in a total of 8 subjects achieving a high rank. He then went on to learn Child Psychology and School Education from London Learning College attaining post graduation in the two subjects.
Dr. Ghanshyam Pundlik Thorat is also the “Gold Medalist” of 2013 in the post graduation subject of Human Rights of North Maharashtra University. He also has the honour of coming first in the same subject in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Law College, Devpur Dhulia in 2013.
He has been honoured by great people like Padma Bhushan Udit Narayan, Padmashree Pandit Suresh Wadkar, Sadhna Sargam, great musician Ashok Patki, Shridhar Phadke, Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota. Dr. Ghanshyam Pundlik Thorat, who is constantly associated with the Police Justice Department and Traffic Department, is an excellent psychologist. More than 25 of his UGC recognized research papers on various subjects have been published in many countries. He has also received the Best Research Scholar Award from World Scientific Foundation, America and Swami Vivekananda University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh (India), Mahakaushal University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh (India).
The dissertation written by him on Indian Knowledge System conducted by UGC has been specially certified. His great work towards “Traffic Sense and Social Justice” in India Star Book of World Record, Executive World Record, Golden Book of World Records, for enlightening millions of people towards. This was awarded in Vishwa Vikram, Pune to Pandit Ghanshyam by the eighth descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj MP Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Speaker, social analyst, commentator, writer, actor, lyricist, director and psychologist, legal practitioner, singer, Professor Pandit Ghanshyam has been awarded D.Litt from International World Record from New Delhi.
Many students of Pandit Ghanshyam are studying in India and abroad today. His students have published his long preface for the book Amrapali and Bhagwaan Mahavir, written by Chitralekha Kosal Nagpur, at Macquarie University in Sydney. Listening to the melodious voice of philosopher Pandit Ghanshyam along with his knowledgeable lectures is also a great pleasure in itself. Prof. Dr. Ghanshyam is the Main Spokesperson in Maharashtra for Advocate Conference of India, New Delhi established by the expert lawyers and legal practitioners of all the Supreme Court of India. He is an expert imitator of many Marathi Kirtankar and Pravankar directed by Anand Sampraday(Kalyan Ghoti) and a practitioner of the Constitution.
Dr. Ghanshyam Pundlik Thorat, who also sings in Bengali and Punjabi languages, is the Founder and President of Rational India Portal Channel and Udit Times News Group inspired by Padmabhushan Pandit Udit Narayan. Pandit Ghanshyam, extremely humble, good-natured and a devotee of knowledge, had impressed the late great musician Yashwant Dev and the great singer and musician Chandrashekhar Gadgil with his tunes. Pandit Ghanshyam, the darling of the great thinker Dr. Yashwant Manohar, is also a skilled practitioner of contemporary literature. A pioneer of modern journalism and a scholar of psychology Prof Dr Pandit Ghanshyam Pundlik Thorat is an executive member of “Indian Legal Awareness Foundation Pune”, an organisation run by Dr. Nagsen Bagul of Dhulia, Maharashtra.
Prof. Dr. Ghanshyam ji’s dissertation on police science and emotional intelligence in the context of Police Department is going to be published in Scopus international index very soon, it will be dedicated to Honourable Deputy Superintendent of Police, former Principal Kishore Kale ji and Deputy SP Pramod Pawar (Jalgaon), Present Principal Vijay Pawar and Vice Principal Ramakrishna Pawar,head Police constable Avinash Chandra.
