A to Z Cart, the rising e-commerce platform in India with its headquarters in Bangalore, just received accreditation from Startup India through June 2023. This online business, which started out in October 2019 as an online grocery store, grew significantly, allowing it to expand and increase the scope of its goods. Currently, A to Z Cart sells a wide range of goods, including groceries, fruits, veggies, garments, and apparel.
A to Z Cart, founded by Ajith Kumar Palani, Manasa Rajendra, Manu Kumar Rajendra, and Ravi Kumar Ramakrishna, has grown impressively as e-commerce has become more popular in India and the retail sector. With frequent additions of new product categories to its collection and the introduction of the EMI (Equated Monthly Installments) option for supermarket purchases, the firm has quickly increased its range of services.
The company presently offers a wide range of more than 2000 products in over 80 different categories. These categories include a wide range of items, including food, produce, mobile phones and accessories, computers, laptops, books, home appliances, electronics, garments, and accessories. They also include sports and fitness gear, baby care goods, games and toys, jewellery, shoes, and a variety of other items.
The business successfully advertises its vast product assortment through well-known social media channels including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. A to Z Cart, which uses a business-to-consumer business model, gives consumers the ability to select from a huge selection of vendors and commodities as well as a number of payment alternatives. A to Z Cart is well-positioned to take advantage of this positive industry trend as consumers increasingly rely on online shopping for its convenience. The online retail sector has significant chances for future progress.
A to Z Cart’s reasonable price and the addition of EMI choices for groceries, which represent a crucial turning point in the history of e-commerce, are among its primary differentiators. The marketplace is notorious for selling name-brand goods at incredibly low costs. In addition, consumers may take advantage of alluring benefits and discounts, quick cash on delivery (COD), a trustworthy return policy, and top-notch customer care.
The Cart offers its consumers a smooth and easy shopping experience with a wide range of product categories, from basic appliances to high-end cosmetic products. The platform guarantees better safety and overall product quality through meticulous evaluation and double-checking, as well as the availability of goods that satisfy guaranteed quality criteria.
About the Founders
“Our focus was not on the market and income, but rather on building something significant that would be affordable for everyone,” stated Ajith Kumar, the founder of A to Z Cart. Both founders, Ajith Kumar Palani and Ravi Kumar Ramakrishna, graduated from Bangalore University in 2014 and gained valuable exposure to the retail sector during their tenure at a private NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company). As close friends, they discovered a shared passion for revolutionizing the e-commerce industry in India. This shared vision motivated them to leave their jobs at the NBFC in 2019 and embark on the creation of an e-commerce company tailored specifically to the needs of the Indian user base. Their aim was to provide Indians with an online store that was developed within the country, leading to the establishment of the renowned platform we now know as A to Z Cart.
