Swiggy, an online meal delivery service, announced on Tuesday that it has launched a ‘WhatToEat’ tool that it claims is the first of its kind in the market.
The feature provides customers with personalised recommendations based on their location, order history, current moods, preferred time of day, and other factors, and aims to make the decision process easier.
Whether a recommendation is based on a user’s order history, regional patterns, or popularity among other Swiggy users, the function will explain to the user the reasoning behind each one.
According to the meal delivery company ‘WhatToEat’, ten tailored recommendations are given to customers for each order to help them sort through the voluminous options and speed up the decision-making process.
