The most recent clash amid the West Bank’s nearly daily bloodshed that has lasted for more than a year.
Khaled Asasa, 21, Qassam Abu Sariya, 29, and Ahmed Saqr, 15, were among those slain in the shootout, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, which also reported that at least four other people were critically wounded.
The Israeli military did not respond to inquiries about the event right away. Multiple Israeli soldiers were reportedly hurt during the firefight, according to Israeli media.
During the current army operation, unconfirmed amateur video footage from Jenin appeared to show an Israeli military chopper firing a rocket.
