On the occasion of Sita Navami, the makers of Adipurush released a new motion poster featuring actor Kriti Sanon. She plays Janaki in the Om Raut film, which was inspired by Sita from the Hindu mythology text Ramayana. Kriti is dressed in a beige saree with a saffron dupatta covering her head in the new poster.
Kriti looks convincing as Janaki, with teary eyes. The song Jai Siya Ram can be heard in the background. “The eternal chant, Jai Siya Ram,” the actor wrote on Twitter. Siya Ram’s heroic saga.” The makers also unveiled new posters for Ram Navami.
As a response to the new poster, a fan wrote in the comments section, “Blockbuster loading.” Another person chimed in, “Mam What should I say, Jai Mata Sita or Jai Mata Kriti.” Another person added, “Best Poster of yours to date.”
Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh are the stars of Adipurush. On June 13, the movie will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival 2023 in New York.
Director Om Raut previously stated, “Adipurush is not a film, it is an emotion, a sentiment! It is our idea of a narrative that connects with India itself. When I discovered that Adipurush had been chosen by the prestigious jury of one of the international film festivals that I had always wanted to attend as a student! The fact that we get to present a tale that has been deeply ingrained in our culture on a large stage at Tribeca Festival is truly surreal for me and the entire team. We can’t wait to see how the audience responds at the world premiere.
“It is an honor for me that the world premiere of Adipurush will take place at the Tribeca Festival in New York. Being a part of a project that reflects the values of our country is a true honor. I feel incredibly proud to be an Indian as well as an actor to see our Indian movies, especially one that is so personal to me, Adipurush, succeed internationally. I’m eager to see Tribeca’s audience reaction,” Prabhas continued.
The movie has the support of Retrophiles Rajesh Nair, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Bhushan and Krishan Kumar of T-Series.
