On Thursday night, Saif Ali Khan appeared irritated by the number of photographers following him and his wife Kareena Kapoor. The actor couple was caught outside their home late at night after returning from Malaika Arora’s mother’s birthday party. As the paparazzi yelled Saif and Kareena’s names, the actor appeared to become agitated and made a witty remark.
Saif wore a black kurta and white pajamas, while Kareena wore a short black gown. ‘Sir, sir!’ screamed the paparazzi. “Aisa kariye aap humare bedroom mein aa jaiye (Do one thing, come to our bedroom),” Saif responded. A few photographers, embarrassed by his words, said ‘nahi, nahi (no, no)’. Saif then waved goodbye to the paparazzi before closing the lobby door behind him.
The paparazzi focus not only on Saif and Kareena but also on their children. Saif previously told the Times of India that his older son Taimur dislikes being photographed. “He has told me!” ‘No picture!’ he exclaims. And he begins to frown. He dislikes unnecessary commotion. It’s not something he’s looking forward to. I wish Taimur could develop normally like any other child. Fortunately, he appears to be very sweet and normal, and he has not been affected in any unusual way by it. But if he was just an anonymous, normal kid, I’d be the happiest guy,” he said.
Saif has previously stated that, while he dislikes paparazzi lurking outside his house, he believes it would be wrong to deprive someone of their job. “Yes, the cops cleared the paparazzi because someone complained,” he said after an altercation in 2019. Not me. I can’t say I like their presence because having 10 people loitering outside your house waiting for a shot of your child is, to put it mildly, disturbing. I didn’t complain because I don’t want anyone to lose their job.” “Please don’t stalk Taimur,” he added. He is not a celebrity. He’s just a kid.”
