Hello, Bollywood! You have been busy making period dramas, biopics, slapstick comedies, remakes, and socially relevant films lately. And, of course, as traversed since Brahmastra’s release. Meanwhile, directors, producers, scriptwriters, and casting agencies have not been focusing on many actor-siblings, who could provide them with a win-win situation if cast in a film together.
I understand! Some of them have heard narrations and seen scripts, but the meat is missing. This is why, as viewers, we have yet to see them share screen time in the film.
1. Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor
While Karisma Kapoor dominated the 1990s, Kareena Kapoor has been a show stealer since the early 2000s. However, neither of the iconic actresses has appeared in a film together as of yet. The Kapoor sisters are eager to work together but are awaiting the “perfect script.”
“I would love to collaborate with Kareena, and I believe the feeling is mutual.” For us to want to work together, the script must be excellent, appropriate, and appropriate. It is a huge responsibility, and we would love to find the perfect script…,” Karisma told PTI in 2020.
Kareena had similar thoughts about working with Karisma.
A year later, Karisma and Kareena shared screen time in a commercial, demonstrating their excellent on-screen chemistry. In addition, Karisma provided a voiceover for Chaaya’s character in the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor film Bodyguard. Please, Karlo, cast ek saath.
2. Sunny Kaushal and Vicky Kaushal
Vicky Kaushal and Sunny Kaushal are both actors in the Hindi film industry, but they have yet to collaborate on a film. Given their strong bond and how much fun they have together, the Kaushal brothers are ideal candidates for an out-and-out comedy film. And having Katrina Kaif play her husband, Vicky’s on-screen wife, and Sunny’s sister-in-law will be the icing on the cake.
3. Soha Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan
While Soha Ali Khan appeared as Kunal Kemmu’s on-screen girlfriend in her brother Saif Ali Khan’s Go Goa Gone, the Pataudi actor-siblings did not share screen time. Saif and Soha have worked together on several shoots for their clothing line, House of Pataudi, as well as a few advertisements, but they have yet to collaborate on a film. It will be fun to see them as on-screen siblings as well.
4. Aparshakti Khurana and Ayushmann Khurrana
While Ayushmann Khurrana has made a name for himself with films such as Vicky Donor, Bala, Article 15, and Andhadhun, Aparshakti Khurana, with the exception of Helmet, has been friend-zoned in Bollywood. His performances in Stree, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Luka Chuppi attest to this. In any case, the Khurana brothers have had a few script narrations, but they have yet to find the best one for them.
“There have been a few narrations. They are the ones who are already bringing better things. Having said that, Ayush bhai is doing a fantastic job in his field. In my own space, I am developing. “It has to be worth it for us to come together for something,” Aparshakti told Bollywood Bubble in June.
Ayushmann and Aparshakti have previously co-hosted award shows such as the IIFA and Zee Cine Awards. We are confident that whenever these actor-siblings find a script that suits them, they will rock it.
5. Arjun and Janhvi Kapoor
Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor did not communicate much before her mother, the late actress Sridevi, died, but their relationship evolved after her mother’s death. Both actors appeared on Koffee With Karan Season 6 and collaborated on the cover of Harper Bazaar magazine.
“There were pauses. We would meet, but there was no meaningful communication,” Arjun told the magazine. “My family has taught me so much.” “We share the same father and blood,” Janhvi added.
According to their new equation, Arjun and Janhvi should sign a movie together as on-screen siblings soon. Sort of like Josh.
6. Kriti Sanon and Nupur Sanon
Kriti Sanon and Nupur Sanon have a close sibling relationship. Their social media handles and interviews attest to this. While Kriti is already a well-known actor, Nupur, the Filhall girl, will soon make her Bollywood debut in Noorani Chehra, a film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. While the Sanon sisters have appeared together in a few advertisements, they have yet to work together on a film.
“Yaar solid film chahiye uske liye.” Perhaps behenon ki ya friends ki. We are both certain that we would like to play meaty roles. “I know that if kisi ka bhi kam ho, hum dono nahin settle honge,” Nupur once told Midday.
7. Kunal Roy Kapur and Aditya Roy Kapur
Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Roy Kapur have very different film audiences. While Kunal appeared in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, in which Aditya played a meaty role, it will be a treat to see them in full-fledged roles as brothers in a film. Meanwhile, the Delhi Belly actor has given us a glimmer of hope that they “might” collaborate.
“We are happy just being brothers….
We are content with our separate journeys and paths, but if we cross paths and have the opportunity, or if there is a good fit, we may work together,” Kunal once told Spotboye.
