The Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, died on September 8,2022 at the age of 96. Buckingham Palace issued a statement on Thursday evening confirming her death.
Elizabeth II ascended to the throne at the age of 25, becoming the longest-reigning monarch in British history and the world’s second-longest reigning monarch.
