Fans of Sushmita wished for her health. “Fast recovery. Wishing you a quick recovery,” one person wrote. “OMG! Ensure your health! Alhamdulillah, it is good to know that you are doing well right now. Much love to you forever,” another person wrote.
Soon, Sushmita will appear in season three of Aarya. Sushmita claimed that her poor health was the reason she joined Instagram earlier this year. Pinkvilla cited her as saying: “I was very, very ill, and my hair is falling out. I now have steroid deposits and a moon face. I had the thought that if I died from this, no one would ever know who I was during this time. I simply opened that page on Instagram one night after logging into the app.
She also talked about her illness in an interview with Anupama Chopra in 2020. “I’m also excited because I’ve spent the last ten years, five of which have been wonderful, watching my little one grow up and being there 100% of the time… The following five years were extremely traumatic. They took me to the darkest places that I had ever been to before. And all the while, there was this light at the end of the tunnel; I had no idea it would be called Aarya, but I knew something good was on its way, and I had to hold on and fight whatever it was I was facing now because I wasn’t done yet. “By that, I don’t mean a film or a web series, but simply something to look forward to,” she explained.
