Hours after senior Congress politician Pawan Khera allegedly insulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a news conference, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reprimanded the grand old party, stating Khera’s remarks were in keeping with Rahul Gandhi’s temperament.
“The language used by a Cong spox (Pawan Khera) for PM Modi today is not his statement, but one that is consistent with Rahul Gandhi’s personality. Rahul Gandhi used derogatory rhetoric about Prime Minister Modi in 2019, and as a result, the Congress lost its Opposition status “According to Amit Shah.”
The people of this country will respond better to the derogatory remarks about the prime minister made by the Congress,” Amit Shah said during a rally in Nagaland’s Mon Town.
Amit Shah also stated that the upcoming elections and their outcomes will tell the story and that Congress will undoubtedly become extinct this time. The Union home minister’s scathing attack on Khera comes after he referred to PM Modi as “Narendra Gautamdas Modi,” an apparent reference to the Congress’s allegations about the prime minister’s relationship with businessman Gautam Adani.
The Congress spokesperson mispronounced the prime minister’s full name, “Narendra Damodardas Modi,” during a press conference. Damodardas Mulchand Modi is PM Modi’s father’s name.”If Narasimha Rao and Atal Bihari Vajpayee could form a Joint Parliamentary Committee, what problem does Narendra Gautam Das — sorry, Damodardas — Modi have?” Khera stated.
Khera returned to his colleague after fumbling over PM Modi’s name to clarify whether PM Modi’s middle name is Gautam Das or Damodardas. He later stated, “My name is Damodardas, and I work for Gautam Das. (While his name is Damodardas, his work is of Gautam Das).
“Not only Amit Shah but also BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya, slammed Pawan Khera, saying that this is not the first time they have made such personal remarks about the prime minister.”The Congress cannot digest the fact that a person like PM Modi, who comes from humble beginnings, now sits in such a high position,” Malviya told news agency ANI.
Following his landing in soup and being heavily trolled on social media, Pawan Khera took to Twitter to clarify that he was “genuinely confused” about the Prime Minister’s middle name.
