In response to a Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the “ecosystem and followers” for their reaction to Rahul Gandhi’s speech in Lok Sabha on Wednesday. Without mentioning Rahul Gandhi, who had launched a stinging attack on the ruling regime over the Adani problem, Prime Minister Modi stated that the entire ecosystem and their supporters were ecstatic following a member’s speech.
“I saw yesterday how the entire ecosystem jumped in enthusiasm after a member’s speech. Some people were presumably so excited that they couldn’t even wake up today,” he said.
He also used a couplet by well-known Indian poet Jigar Moradabadi to mock the opposition.
“ye keh keh ke ham dil ko bahla rahe hai, wo ab chal chuke hai, wo ab aa rahe hai,” PM Modi added, a veiled jab at Congress supporters’ enthusiasm for Rahul Gandhi’s address.
The prime minister also chastised Opposition leaders for missing the President’s address and referred to Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury’s contentious statement.
“Some people ignored the President’s address while it was taking place.
Even the President was insulted by a tall leader. They were hostile toward ST. When such things were uttered on TV, a profound sensation of loathing emerged. “After drafting a letter later, an attempt was made to preserve oneself,” he explained.
President Droupadi Murmu’s presence as Head of the Republic, according to the prime minister, is historic and encouraging for the country’s daughters and sisters.
“I would like to express my appreciation for the President’s Address. I was also given the opportunity earlier. But this time, in addition to thanking her, I’d like to greet her. The President guided us and millions of Indians in her inspiring talk. “Her presence as the Head of the Republic is historic as well as encouraging for the country’s daughters and sisters,” Prime Minister Modi stated.
“The President has boosted the indigenous community’s pride. After several years of independence, the tribal community is filled with pride and increased self-confidence. This nation and the House are grateful to her,” he continued.
