Pathaan ,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, is off to a flying start not only in India but also overseas. The film has earned approximately Rs 54 crore nett at the domestic box office, with a similar opening at the international box office.
According to preliminary estimates, Pathaan ‘ earned $4.5 million on Wednesday. According to Boxoffice India, the worldwide opening day figure is more than 100 crore nett, and ‘Pathaan’ is also the first film to break the century mark with a worldwide gross collection of Rs100-110 crore. According to reports, the collection in North America will soon surpass $1.5 million.
The Gulf market is expected to contribute more than $1 million to the film’s total, and ‘Pathaan’ is expected to be the highest-grossing Hindi film in the Gulf following the pandemic in just two days of release. For 9 years, SRK’s 2014 film ‘Happy New Year’ set the record with a total of Rs 36.31 crore on its first day. ‘Chennai Express,’ which earned Rs 30.48 crore, ‘Dilwale,’ which earned Rs 20.37 crore, and ‘Raees,’ which earned Rs 20.29 crore, are the other films on the list of highest SRK opening day collections.
