Dr.S.Prabakaran was born in a small village named, Melpalanandal near Thiruvannamalaion January 1972. He settled at Ambattur, Chennai in 1993. His father N.Shanmugham’ a School Head Master and Correspondent and Mother S.Lakshmi’ a Teacher in Melpalanandal. He studied Elementary education in Dhanalakshmi Aided Primary School, Melpalanandal, which was started by his Grandfather Narayana Gounder, in 1941. He pursued his School final at Government School, Tiruvannamalai.
He pursued his Bachelor Degree at C.Abdul Hakeem College and did M.A (His), M.A (Sociology), and B.Ed at Annamalai University (Chidambaram). He did his M.Phil research at Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai in 1997 and ‘Ph.D (His)’ at University of Madras, Chennai in 2003. He received his Doctoral Degree from then Governor of Tamilnadu, in 2005. He is a good Scholar, Teacher, Writer, Mentor, Anchor and Social activist.
Dr.S.Prabakaran started his career in Media as News Reader and Comparer in the year 2000 and it continued up to 2013. In 2013, he got Government posting as Assistant Professor of History in AVVM Sri Pushpam College, Tamilnadu. In the year 2016, he got promoted as the HOD of History and continued up to June-2021. He has published 03 Books, 04 Book Editor,13 Book Chapters and 04 Proceedings with ISBN Number, 28 Research Papers in UGC approved Journals, Guided “25 M.PhilScholars”, Organized 04 National Level Seminars and 02 National Level Symposiums, and 17 Guest Lectures, etc. He has been conducted free IAS coaching for students in the college from 2017 to 2020.
“Lifetime Achievement Award-2022” has been awarded to Dr.S.Prabakaran from the International Research Awards on Science, Health and Engineering (SHEN AWARDS-2022) on 27th June 2022 for the Contribution and Honorable Achievements in Innovative Research and valuable services in the field of Education.
Dr.S.Prabakaran has conducted 18 International Level Online Quiz Programmes during the Academic Year 2020-2021 and so that he has received 5 National Awards from Five organizations, such as, HOD of the Year Award-2021 (InSc); Best HOD of the Year-2021 (Magic Book of Records); Best HOD of the Year-2021(Karnataka Educational Awards); Best HOD of the Year Award-2021 (GECL, Dehradun, Uttarakhand) and Best HOD of the Year 2021 (FireBoxx).
He has also received 18 National and International Awards during the Academic Year 2021-2022 in the field of education in Tamilnadu. So, this achievement was identified by the Press and news published on June-2022 in Tamil News Papers like, MakkalMugam, PudugaiVaralaru, Times of Tamilnadu, Aram, Now Indiar Times, MakkalKural, TamizhSudar, SeithiAlasal, etc.
Dr.S.Prabakaran has attended number of National and International Conferences/Seminars and presented his research papers. He has participated 2 Orientation Courses; 6 Refresher Courses; 72 Webinars; 77 Online Quiz Programmes; 18 National Level Seminars and Conferences; 19 Faculty Development Programmes (FDP); 01 Short Term Course and so on. He has delivered 03 vital Guest Lectures and organized 20 Online Quiz Programmes. He has presented 11 research papers in State and National Level Seminars and Conferences.
Dr.S.Prabakaran has received 29 Awards for his services in the field of education so far. His profile history has been published in 4 familiar Web Journals like, FOXSTORY India, and FIREBOXX, etc. He has been Editorial Board Member in Edwin Group of Journals, Edwin Incorporation, India and Member of IMRF, Vijayawada and InSc, Bangalore, etc.
