Renuka Gangan is an author (poet), music composer and producer, singer, lyricist, and also someone who is venturing into the eCommerce space. So far, she has published two poetry books: “Love Mince Pie And Some Magic” and “Submerged In Love.” She also hosts her own podcast, “Nadabrahma”, which is available on Spotify, where they speak with their guest speakers on subjects like music, science, travel, and much more.
What are Renuka Gangan’s greatest milestones in her life journey?
Academically, she has completed her PG in Finance from IIM Kozhikode. Music and singing have always enticed her, and she has been singing since her college days. However, in 2016, she started her journey as a music composer, lyricist, and producer. So far, she has produced independent music in Hindi, English, and Marathi, which is available on various streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, etc. In 2021, she got to share her poems in the form of published books. ‘Love Mince Pie And Some Magic’ and ‘Submerged In Love’ are the names of the books. ‘Submerged In Love’ became an Amazon best seller. This year, i.e., in 2022, she started her podcast “Nadabrahma”. The sheer joy of speaking with brilliant people on various subjects gives her an experience of fulfillment, plus you get to share it with the whole world.
What are the lessons from the challenges Renuka Gangan has faced and how did she overcome them?
There is a saying, “Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.” Difficulties motivate her to do better and be the best version of herself. Though the milestones of the life journey sound great, they are the result of a lot of difficult times and hardships. Her never-say-die attitude enables her to overcome any challenge in such a way that she either learns from it or turns it into an opportunity.
Mention some of the values she lives by and would advise others to do the same…
You are your biggest asset. Invest in yourself and everything else will fall into place. Also, it is important to be truthful and ethical, and she truly believes in the law of karma.
She would like to highlight that, so far, the work done by her in various fields, like being an author or poet, creating indie music, or hosting a podcast, is an attempt to give something beautiful to the world. Instead of being identified as only an author or singer, she would like to be identified as a multifaceted personality.
