Sravya Ratakonda is an Msc-MBA graduate, and She is a global entrepreneur, business developer, and philanthropist from Chennai, India. She chose to pursue business as a career as she was obsessed with entrepreneurship as a girl and also to do what she love the most. She chose philanthropy as it gives her immense happiness in helping others. She was the Global Talent in AIESEC and the Campus Ambassador of the International Model United Nations.
What are Sravya Ratakonda some greatest milestones in her life journey?
The milestone She was always proud of is when she founded her own E-commerce startup at the age of 20 with very minimal knowledge and resources, yet turned out to be an incredible experience, and acquired an immense knowledge of the real entrepreneurial world. When she was 22, she moved to another country to pursue her master’s in International Business which made her rich in knowledge, skills, network, learning, resilience, and independence and also fuelled her passion on greater levels to achieve something bigger. She work actively on a number of social projects like raising and donating funds for organizations for different causes, donating hair to cancer patients, helping Covid patients find beds during the pandemic, conducted conferences on gender equality, global poverty, and more in the past few years as I personally feel that there’s no better feeling than knowing you’ve helped to make someone else’s life better and added value to it.
What is the learning from the challenges she has faced and how did she overcome them?
There were so many challenges that she faced successfully Hitting rock bottom is the toughest part of her journey as it literally forced her to find different avenues to achieve fulfillment. She was thankful that She hit the rock bottom sooner than later and She was resilient enough to overcome and stand where she is today. The challenges in her journey till now have helped her to find her own path in life, to help others win, to show simple acts of kindness, and to dream bigger.
She learns from everything she sees and experiences. We are sometimes too hard on ourselves and we think mistakes are bad. But something worse than making a mistake is not learning from it. Everyone makes mistakes in life so there is no point in blaming yourself, or worse, blaming others. Instead, learn from everything you experience and make it your goal to learn. She believes in learning, progress, and growth as the three keys to life, once we achieve that success just follows. Help others win and we will win. There’s no better feeling than knowing you’ve helped to make someone else’s life better and added value to it. Whether it’s a simple act of kindness or something more significant, seeing the appreciation in someone else’s eyes is truly gratifying. In the digital age, anybody can make money. The problem is, we all die and don’t keep the money. Your legacy is directly tied to the impact you left on others. Change lives! They will tell your stories. Don’t give up – Keep trying new things.
