Divyalakshmi was born in Kerala. She wrote poems and stories in her childhood days. She did her degree studies at Joseph College. What are Divyalakshmi’s some of the greatest milestones in her life journey?
Divyalakshmi got great satisfaction when she published her first book on the kdp platform. Her friends and family inspired her to write the book.” Cancerinte naalvazhikal” is one of the books that greatly inspired people. They got inspiration on how to overcome the disease without fear. They could hand over the book to several patients. She got a chance to write a book about Dr. Gangadharan, who changed her mother’s life. His words should encourage her to fight the disease. The book was published by the novelist Benyamin. She also writes an article about how she was fortunate in her life. The book was also inaugurated by several platforms like Alpha Care and Amala Medical College Hospital.
What are the lessons from the challenges she has faced and how did she overcome them? (50 to 70 words)
Thought press published the book ‘arbudh me tariyomse saphar’ in Hindi. But the Malayalam version book has faced a few challenges because the Malayalam version has been accepted by two publications but, due to the corona pandemic, it has become difficult to publish. They were a little confused about the publishing procedure, but after several months, they got the book and circulated it in a good manner.
Mention some of the values she lives by and would advise others to do the same…
She had had different life experiences during hospital life. She learned from the stories of different people. Everyone should fear cancer, but when we face it positively, we can overcome the disease. Firm belief and support from family can overcome the disease. They advise people that cancer is not a life-threatening disease, it can be cured, and you will return to life in a good manner. She thinks positive thinking will be the best medicine for this disease.
She got the Fox India Prime Author award. She got one of the greatest awards of her life.
